In continued support of the next generation of agriculture professionals, CentralStar Cooperative’s Board of Directors is awarding $1,000 scholarships to six students. These students are pursuing agricultural degrees at colleges across the upper Midwest.

“These scholarships reflect CentralStar’s commitment to building the future of our industry,” said Communication Specialist Dori Lichty. “By investing in students who are passionate about agriculture, we’re helping ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of dairy and beef production.”

To be eligible, applicants had to be children of CentralStar member-stockowners and demonstrate active involvement in agriculture. As part of the application, students responded to five essay prompts addressing their contributions to the industry, community involvement, work experience, personal achievements, and future goals.

The Recipients

Blake Jauquet, Luxemburg, Wis., will attend Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, studying agricultural business. He’s the son of David and Stacy Jauquet.

Hailing from Rosendale, Wis., Grace Clark is the daughter of Travis and Janet Clark. She’s a student at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville majoring in agribusiness marketing and communication. Carter Fetzer is from Maiden Rock, Wis. He’ll be attending the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, River Falls, Wis., studying agricultural business.

The final scholarship recipient is Josie Bailey from Tomah, Wis. CentralStar Cooperative is honored to support these driven students as they pursue their education, contribute to the advancement of agriculture, and strengthen the rural communities they call home.
