Winnebago County Therapy Dog Introduction

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- The Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office welcomes a new member to the agency. K9 Brie!

K9 Brie and her partner Deputy Medical Examiner McKenzie Repinski will hold a meet and greet with the media at noon today at the Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Brie and Repinski will be working with the Medical Examiner’s Office as well as responding to calls throughout Winnebago County. Brie is a 1-year-old Goldendoodle that has just completed her 4th good citizen certification through Dawgs and Work in Saukeville.

Brie will provide comfort under stressful or emotional circumstances to family and friends who are grieving the loss of a loved one. She will also provide support to the staff of the Medical Examiner’s Office and police officers throughout the county. She will bring comfort to individuals, groups, and communities impacted by a traumatic event.
