Wautoma Couple Accused of Child Sexual Assault

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- Authorities in Adams County have charged two Wautoma residents for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple children.

Thirty-nine-year-old Nicole Prutzman and 46-year-old James Prutzman were arrested Monday and taken to the Adams County Jail. They had a bond hearing Wednesday. Initial charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened over five years ago.

Bond was set at $50,000 cash for both of them. Nicole will make her initial appearance on the charges in Adams County Court on September 9^th. The initial appearance for James is a week later. They are both being held in the Adams County Jail.

Further charges are expected as the investigation continues. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office.
