Celebrating Public Schools Week with Mike Johnson (Hour 1)
This Wednesday, Pat Kreitlow is out of town, but Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project joins us from the nation’s capital to cover the news with a touch of sports.
According to a new article from CNN, the Trump administration is restricting which news organizations are allowed to have White House correspondents. Reputable stalwarts like Associated Press will no longer have access to the White House. This move sets a dangerous precedent in American news that even Fox News reporters disagree with. Our country is now one step closer to state-run media.
At the bottom of the hour, we welcome Trygve’s friend Mike Johnson back to the show. Johnson is the Superintendent of the Eau Claire Area Public School District, and he’s here to celebrate Public Schools Week! In Wisconsin, public schools are the cornerstone of our communities.

Bikes & Singing (Hour 3)
Mark Woosencraft and Mike Johnson from the Green Bay Bicycle Collective join the show to talk about this service in the area. They take bicycles that have seen better days, refurbish them and sell them at a "reduced price". Their unofficial motto is "More Butts on Bikes". Something Jim and John can get behind. Get more information HERE.
Then we welcome a group from the Appleton MacDowell Men's Chorus to talk about a couple shows they have coming up in the area. Plus, Maino does an on-air audition for the chorus and it is pretty unanimous that he should be on the "riser crew". (The team the sets up the risers before shows, and tears them down afterward). A really fun group of gentlemen. Click HERE for more details about the chorus and upcoming shows!
