Total Life Fitness founder Luke Briggs spent 8 years as an in-person personal trainer boutique gym in the Madison area. In 2020, Luke decided to branch out and start his own business, Total Life Fitness. Luke talks about his fitness program and background

Austin Galante is a music producer, vocalist, director, cinematographer, and actor. Austin has worked on songs featuring major recording artists, worked at major motion picture studios while living in LA, and has 25 music videos and one feature film to his credit.

Make that 2 feature films. Austin is releasing his second feature film “Sanguine Teeth on a Driftless Road” and will premiere at the Marcus Palace Cinema in Sun Prairie on June 7th.

The Lower 5th founding members Luke Jorgersen, Cory Swadley, and Paul Metz started working together in 2010 to write and perform songs that drew from and built on their eclectic musical roots. With the addition of Audrey Pescitelli (Bass), Jeremy Henning (Trombone & Guitar) and Michael Buerger (Trumpet) The Lower 5th has grown to become a band of power house musicians and leave it all on the stage with every performance. After the tragic loss of their Leader in 2018, Luke Jorgensen, the band committed to carry on in his honor an uplifting message of Hope and Togetherness that continues to resonate through their music today.

Marta is a songwriter, vocalist, and pianist. She has been performing in the Madison area for many years and has been nominated for both MAMA and WAMI awards. Marta is piano technician and is the owner of The Piano Gal Shop in Sun Prairie.
Marta writes about complex issues and has finished production of a video for her song “Bang Bang” that deals with the sobering thought of school shootings from a mother’s perspective.

Moments before going to air, news broke that Bob Uecker has died at the age of 90. Civic Media Sports Reporter Mike Clemons joins the show to talk about the legend that is Mr. Baseball. From his days as a player to his 54 years in the broadcast booth, we remember the man who was the voice of The Brewers. Then, Marta Hansen is the Dane County local group lead volunteer for Moms Demand Action. Through Executive Order, Governor Tony Evers has created creating the statewide Wisconsin Office of Violence Prevention (OVP). We discuss the goals and importance of this office for all those who live in the state.

Next, Trygve Olson from The Lincoln Project joins Pat Kreitlow on UpNorthNews to explain how a group of Never-Trump Republicans is reacting to a generational passing of the torch by Democrats and how that might help GOP traditionalists take their party back and protect democracy in the process.
