Jimmy K calls out Rökker’s “Suitcase of Cords”
Rökker sets up the Lair for live music each week, and in order to hook up the band to the radio stations there are A LOT of microphone and instrument cords. They are all kept in a purple travel suitcase and Jimmy K is commenting on it's state of being and throws Greg Ginter under the bus. Too Funny.

For the Love of It All
In hour two, John delivers to us another set of Web Wisdoms, this time discussing the misinterpretation of scientific articles, and another on the true intentions behind Musk's trashing of government agencies - complete deregulation. We check in with Brittney Merlot to talk Valentine's Day and look at the forecast, before we hear from Education Secretary Linda McMahon, throwing around the idea of banning African American studies from the classroom (!). Later, Jimmy K joins the show as he does every Friday, to give us a preview of what's on tap for Max Ink Radio, and other local music this weekend.

I’m a Christian – Poor Me!
In hour two, the guys dive into an upcoming executive order by Trump to root out "Christian bias." To distract ourselves, we check in with Brittney Merlot for a check of the weather, and to chat once again about this weekend's Frozen Assets Fest. Before the bottom of the hour, John covers a story about the Proud Boys, who have lost their trademark to a Black church in a defamation case, and also news about Trump and Musk, who plan to allow only white immigration from South Africa (!). Later, to wrap up the show, we welcome Jimmy K in to the studio for an update on Rökker, still recovering from his heart attack, and also to look at what's on tap for Max Ink Radio and local music this weekend.

Holy Crow!
In hour two, we hear the buried lead, a comment by Glenn Grothman, saying the federal government needs to conduct an "ethnic review" - racism, no? Then we return to the news of the plane crash, getting Ron Johnson's response, and his call to upgrade facilities. Brittney Merlot checks in for our daily look at the weather, and then the guys solicit responses, asking how listeners get their fix of Civic Media every day. Later, we're joined by Jimmy K as we are every Friday, to take a look at what's on tap for Max Ink Radio and local music this weekend.

Heritage Foundation Booooo
In hour two we dive into the Big Story: more on the executive order banning birthright citizenship for children of immigrants illegally in the country. We get the Heritage Foundation's (wrong) argument on why it should stand, and the guys break down the blatantly unconstitutional order. With more bashing of the Heritage Foundation, the guys tear down Russel Vought, an author of Project 2025, and the nominee for Budget Director, who wants to "traumatize" the federal government. After the break, we finally get a break from politics, as we welcome in Jimmy K for a preview of Max Ink Radio and what's on tap for local music this weekend.

Bye Bye Leinies and Weatherpeople
In hour two, we talk briefly with a caller about last hour's topic of international takeovers, and she offers up another piece of media telling a story about such. The guys chat with James Kelly, our news correspondent up in Chippewa Falls, getting the scoop on Leinenkugel's brewery closing later today. Moving over to Wausau, we chat with Brittney Merlot, or Civic Media meteorologist, both about the weather, but also about the news that Allen Media is cutting its entire weather staff across all its stations, in Eau Claire, Wausau, and here in Madison. After talking more about Trump's desire to "make imperialism great again," we welcome in Jimmy K, in for Rökker, to preview what's on tap for Max Ink Radio and local music this weekend.
