Richland Center won 6-5 over River Valley in an exciting softball game on May 8. The visiting Hornets won for the second time this season over the Blackhawks.
The River Valley baseball team lost at Dodgeville on May 6, 4-1. The Blackhawks managed just two hits against winning pitcher Caden Schneider. Jack Graber pitched two innings of hitless relief for the Dodgers as they improved to 4-2 in the league. River Valley remains winless with an overall 0-5 record this season.
