Pole Shed Fire in FDL County

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Fire damaged a 30-by-40-foot pole shed on Laurel Lane in the Town of Taycheedah Sunday afternoon.

Just before 4:30 the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Mt. Calvary Fire Department were dispatched for the blaze. Smoke and flames were coming from the pole shed when they arrived.

The fire was quickly extinguished saving much of the structure. However, multiple trailers and pieces of equipment, including a boat and lawn mower, were damaged.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still being determined.

The St. Cloud, Town of Fond du Lac, and Calumet Fire Departments, Eden First Responders, and Mt. Calvary Ambulance provided assistance.
