RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say a 57-year-old Kewaskum woman injured in a single vehicle rollover accident late Monday morning has died.

Multiple 911 calls reported the accident that happened in front of N 3357 US Highway 45 in the Town of Osceola. A deputy and two bystanders pulled Joan Biese from the vehicle and the deputy performed CPR on her because she wasn’t breathing. A second deputy assisted.

Biese began breathing again and was taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening-injuries. Sheriff’s officials were notified Tuesday she had passed away.

Investigators say she was heading south on US Highway 45 when her vehicle left the roadway, struck a driveway embankment, and overturned. It is believed she suffered a medical incident which caused her vehicle to go off the road. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
