CALEDONIA, Wis. (WRJN) – A new workforce training program at the Jonathan Delagrave Youth Development & Care Center is helping young people build job skills through food service education.

The center held a graduation ceremony Tuesday for the first three participants to complete IN2WORK, a national program created by Aramark that teaches food safety and leads to ServSafe certification. The six‑week course marks the first time the program has been offered in Racine County.

Racine County Executive Ralph Malicki praised the youth for earning a nationally recognized credential, saying it shows what determination and follow‑through can achieve.

The program builds on the center’s RISE=UP culinary training and offers graduates access to scholarship opportunities and career support as they prepare for future education or employment.
