The Brewer Public Library in Richland Center is again partnering with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library program by inviting library patrons to check out a free day pass to state parks, forests, and recreation areas. Stacy Pilla is the director of the Brewer Public Library.

The DNR continues to encourage new users to check out the Wisconsin State Park System by utilizing this program that was launched in 2022 and provides daily Wisconsin state park and forest vehicle admission passes for library patrons to check out at no cost.

Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library is a collaborative effort between the DNR, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and more than 120 libraries across the state, including our own Brewer Public Library. The program provides the opportunity to check out a day pass to state public areas for library cardholders.

Library patrons are encouraged to review the DNR webpage to help prepare for their visit to any of Wisconsin’s state parks, forests, and recreation areas. Library cards to utilize the Brewer Public Library and to participate in the Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library program are free to any child or adult living in Richland County.
