Iowa County traffic stop leads to multiple arrests

An Iowa County traffic stop leads to two arrests. On Thursday (February 5) evening, at approximately 9:28p, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 18 near King Street in the City of Dodgeville.

As a result of the stop, Cynthia L. Herlitz, 58 of Avoca, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture and the Department of Correction placed a hold.

Martina R. Stauffer, 42 of Avoca, was also arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture.

Both individuals were transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the listed charges.
