RAMC La Valle Clinic now open

REEDSBURG, WIS. (CIVIC MEDIA) Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC) officially celebrated the opening of the RAMC La Valle Clinic Wednesday (December 10) with a ribbon cutting ceremony recognizing an important expansion of healthcare services for the La Valle community and surrounding areas.

The opening of the RAMC La Valle Clinic reflects RAMC’s continued commitment to expanding access to primary, preventive, and wellness care for rural residents by providing services closer to home. The clinic was developed through a partnership with La Valle Telephone Cooperative as part of its new facility, creating a convenient, centralized location for community members to access healthcare. 

Located on State Hwy 33/58 near the La Valle Telephone Cooperative building, the clinic is now open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. The clinic offers scheduled primary care visits and basic on-site lab services, with future plans to introduce pharmacy support for added convenience. Patients are being seen by Nurse Practitioner Amanda McAfee and Dr. Garret Tesman.

Appointments at the RAMC La Valle Clinic are now being scheduled by calling RAMC’s appointment line at 608-524-6477.

An open house is planned for Wednesday, December 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Community members are invited to tour the clinic, meet the providers, enjoy light refreshments, and sign up for door prizes.
