
One-vehicle crash in Richland County leads to injuries and OWI arrest
RICHLAND COUNTY, WIS. (WRCO / WRCE) Two people were injured in a one vehicle crash.
Early Tuesday morning (December 9) around 2:00 am, the Richland County Dispatch received a call about a single vehicle crash on Town Hall Drive with entrapment.
Deputies arrived on scene and located the driver, Raven Johnson, 22 of Muscoda, and a passenger, Mariah Mccormick, 24 of Richland Center, in the vehicle against a utility pole. The vehicle had been traveling north bound on County Highway E, the operator lost control of the vehicle, and left the roadway near Town Hall Drive.
The vehicle crashed into a utility pole causing several power lines to fall to the ground. Deputies aided the occupants until Muscoda EMS and Fire arrived on scene. Both occupants where extricated from the vehicle and transported to the Richland Hospital for medical care. During the investigation signs of impairment were observed by the responding Deputies.
As a result of the investigation Raven Johnson was arrested and cited for OWI first offense Causing Injury, Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle, and Driving to Fast for Conditions.
