WISCONSIN (Civic Media) – The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is set to return to Wisconsin this week.

The train will arrive in southeastern Wisconsin on Dec. 9 and feature three days of performances before exiting the state Dec. 11 in La Crosse.

The annual event is in its 26th year and benefits charities that deal with food insecurity.

Each stop features a musical performance and a lights show. There’s no fee to attend, but people are encouraged to bring donations for their local food pantries and other charities.

Since its first run in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised over $26 million and collected over 5.4 million pounds of food for food banks in the U.S. and Canada.

Musical performances for the Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota leg of the tour are American Authors and Pynk Beard.

A map of each stop is available on the CPKC website. A list of stops and dates in Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota is below.
