
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WRCO / WRCE) – The Brewer Public Library will host a workshop by Wisconsin author, photographer, and community storyteller Michael Cooney Wednesday, November 19, at 10:00a.
“Capturing Your Family Story: Discovering Your Family History and How to Share It for Generations to Come” is a 90-minute program that will be held on the second floor next to the Richland County History Room.
Michael Cooney is a Wisconsin-based author known for non-fiction books, particularly his work documenting Wisconsin’s folk art and cultural sites, such as Exploring with a pilgrim’s heart: Wisconsin’s shrines, chapels, and grottos.
There is no cost to attend, and no registration is required.

Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
