
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WRCO / WRCE) – Symons Recreation Complex, Richland Center, will be holding an Open House Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26.
Saturday’s activities begin with the first Richland Center Pumpkinfest run/walk. Check-in time will be from 8 p.m. until 8:45 p.m., and the event starts at 9 p.m. The run features 5K and 10K routes with a new chip timing system.
Metals will be awarded to the top finishers in both men’s and women’s age brackets. There will also be a one-and-a-half mile walk where participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Prizes are given to the top costumes in several categories. You can register for the run/walk in advance or the day of the event. There will also be a Brat Cookout from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. On Saturday afternoon, there will be a Symon’s Pumpkin Fest Pool Party from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., featuring music, popcorn, swimming pool inflatables and lots of fun.
The pool party is free for everyone. Then, on Sunday, the Open House will be held from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. There will be free admission both days for the Symons Recreation Complex Open House.
