Ithaca Volleyball defeats Weston 3 games t o1

ITHACA, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – The Ithaca girls volleyball team won a Ridge and Valley conference match 3 sets to 1 on Tuesday night at home over Weston.  The scores were 25-21, 25-11, with Weston winning the third set 25-22, and Ithaca taking the 4th, 25-9.  The Bulldogs improved to 6-1 in the league with more tough matches coming up in the next couple of weeks including a quad at De Soto next Tuesday night.

Ithaca was led in the opener by Brinley Wanless with 4 kills and an ace.  Jacey Maxwell paced the Bulldogs with 4 kills and 4 aces in the 2nd set.

Lexi Rockweiler had 4 kills in the 3rd set to lead Weston to the win.  Shelby Neuman had 3 kills and she totaled 17 digs for the match. Valerie Bauer led with assists. Earlier this season she surpassed 500 digs for her high school career.

Ithaca setter Aubri Imhoff had 2 aces in the 4th and match ending set.  It was the second 3 sets to 1 win over Weston for Ithaca this season.

Weston won the JV match 2 sets to none over Ithaca.
