RICHLAND CENTER Wis (WRCO ENTERTAINMENT) – Helping feed Richland County, one mis-guided recipe at a time!

The “Deconstructed Anything”

Ingredients:

  • A bag of chips.
  • A tub of dip (hummus, salsa, or sour cream are all acceptable).
  • A handful of crackers.
  • A slice of cheese from a cheese stick.
  • Anything else that does not require a fork or knife.

Instructions:

  1. Step 1: The “Gathering of Goods” Empty the contents of your snack bag or pantry into a bowl. This is a “deconstructed” meal, which is a fancy way of saying you’re too tired to put everything on a plate.
  2. Step 2: The “Dipping Drama” Take a chip and dip it into the dip. Do not be shy. This is your moment.
  3. Step 3: The “Stacking of the Snack” Now, take a cracker. Place a small piece of cheese on top. This is the most complex step in the recipe. This is where your skills as a master chef will be tested.
  4. Step 4: The “Final Consumption” Eat the chip. Eat the cracker with the cheese. And don’t stop until the bowl is empty. This is your reward for being up until 2:30 AM. It’s a small reward, but it’s all you need.
