
Traffic stop leads to arrest in Arena
The driver was identified as Hope Marie Millard, 40 of Richland Center. During a search deputies located two bags of a crystal-like substance.
ARENA, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – A traffic stop led to a felony drug arrest in Arena.
According to an Iowa County Sheriff’s Department press release, Sheriff Michael Peterson reports Tuesday morning, August 12 at approximately 2:40 that an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop for failure to dim headlights and operating left of center on USH-14 near Baxter Road in the town of Arena.
The driver was identified as Hope Marie Millard, 40 of Richland Center. During a search, deputies located two bags of a crystal-like substance. The bags field-tested positive for methamphetamine, with a total weight of approximately 4.05 ounces.
Millard faces charges of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver Amphetamine, and misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
She is currently on probation through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, which has placed a probation.
