WISCONSIN (CIVIC MEDIA) – Wisconsin businessman and former Navy SEAL Bill Berrien has announced his intent to run for Governor in the 2026 election.

He is now the second candidate to officially enter the race and will face off against Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann in the Republican primary. In a campaign announcement video posted on social media, Berrien proclaims “I’m an outsider and a businessman, just like President Trump. And I’ll shake up Madison like he’s shaking up (Washington) D.C.”

Berrien is a former Navy SEAL and the owner of Pindel Global Precision, a manufacturing business in New Berlin. No Democrats have officially entered the race thus far, but Governor Tony Evers says he will announce his decision on running for a third term within the next couple of weeks.

Additional information on Berrien’s campaign can be found at his website.
