Child Hit by Car in Green Lake Dies

GREEN LAKE, Wis (WRPN / WAUH) – A child hit by a vehicle while bicycling in Green Lake Wednesday morning has died.

Green Lake Police responded to 512 Hill Street shortly before 10 a.m. Police say the juvenile was riding their bicycle on a sidewalk. The vehicle’s driver was angle-parking on that side of the street when the vehicle went over the curb and struck the juvenile.

Taken to Ripon Medical Center with severe injuries, the child died. The incident is still under investigation.

Green Lake Ambulance, Green Lake First Responders, Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputies, and Green Lake Fire Department also responded to the scene of the accident.
