
Rodeo draws to a close, Queen and all-arounds named
Contestants move onto the National High School Rodeo Competition being held July 13-19 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCO) – Another State High School Rodeo Finals is in the books. A new queen was also crowned Sunday afternoon.
The 2025 Rodeo Queen is Grace Bennett from Lancaster, with Finley Carlsen as first runner-up and Kinley Skinner as second runner-up.
The All-Around Cowboy is Kade Parrish of LaValle. The All-Around Cowgirl is Raelynn Johnson of Brodhead. Rookie Cowboy is Toay Ragatz of Cassville and Rookie Cowgirl is Kallie Parrish of LaValle.
Barrel Racing: Quinn Donskey of Sparta took first; Kallie Parrish, second; Mackenzie Mason of Scandia, MN, third; and Hadley Alderson of Onalaska, fourth.
Goat Tying: Kallie Parrish took first; Josie Waldenberger of Holmen second; Bryn, Lea Hoffman of Townsend, third; and Calynn Ollendick of Tomah took fourth.
Pole Bending: Calynn Ollendick took first; Madi McBride of Holmen took second; Raelynn Johnson of Brodhead, third; and Evelyn Taylor of Lancaster took fourth.
Breakaway Roping: Raelynn Johson took first; Saige Kite of Oxford took second; Lainee Skinner of Reedsburg placed third; and Caylee Check of Tomah, fourth.
Tie Down Roping: Lucas Miller of Mineral Point took first; Keegan Cooley of Richland Center, second; Nathan VanErt of Wisconsin Rapids, third; and Kyan Nelson of Tomah, fourth.
Steer Wrestling: Brayden Carlsen of Medford placed first; Toay Ragatz, second; Braden Skaife of Lancaster placed third; and Keegan Cooley, fourth.
Bareback Riding: Kade Parrish placed first.
Saddle Broncs: Tripp Kite of Oxford placed first.
Bull Riding: Jaren Grimsled of Gays Mills placed first; Cody Mlodik of Wittenbuerg, second; Hayden Olson of Sparta, third; and Kade Parrish fourth.
Team Roping: Brady Breitsprecher of Tomah & Trey Carlson of Decorah, IA place first; Nathan VanErt & Kade Parrish placed second; Jace Loch of Bellevue, IA & Clint Mitchell of Boscobel placed third; and Raelynn Johnson and Lucas Miller placed fourth.
Girls Cutting: Carley Gukenberger of Marshfield placed first; Kallie Parrish, second; Laney Lund of Lime Springs, IA placed third; and Josie Waldenberger of Holmen placed fourth.
Boy’s Cutting: Tyler Parr of Mondovi placed first; Kade Parrish, second; Keegan Cooley, third; and McKinley Stanton of Black River Falls placed fourth.
Reined Cow Horse4: Tyler Parr placed first; Carley Gukenberger placed second; McKinley Stanton third; and Kallie Parish was fourth.
In the shooting competitions in
Light Rifle: Josie Waldenberger placed first; Jenna Bretsch of Reedsburg placed second; Colbi Spiegelberg of Greenville placed third; and Jackson Borchardt of Clinton placed fourth.
Trap Shooting: Cade Morehead of Baldwin, IA placed first; Lucas Miller was second; Johnny Harms of Platteville placed third; and Piper Novitski of Clintonville placed fourth.
