Farmers Market returns to RC, with a new location
The market will be open every Wednesday from 1:30 to 5:30 PM, and potentially until 6:00 PM depending on vendor availability.
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – The Richland Area Farmers’ Market is making its return and this year, it’s in a brand-new location. Shoppers will now find the market at the corner of Court and Orange Streets, with stalls conveniently located facing Kwik Trip.
The market will be open every Wednesday from 1:30 to 5:30 PM, and potentially until 6:00 PM depending on vendor availability.
Opening day will feature a variety of local favorites, including bedding plants, maple syrup, honey, eggs, salad greens, rhubarb, radishes, mushrooms, and fresh flowers. Baked goods like breads, pies, and cookies will also be available, along with jams, jellies, canned goods, and grass-fed beef to order.
The market accepts EBT, SNAP, and QUEST cards, and thanks to the Rotary Club of Richland County, kids ages 4 to 17 can receive free produce tokens as part of the Youth Food Token program. The Boomerang Bag Program also returns, made possible by Compeer Financial.
Parking is available off Jefferson Street, with sidewalk access for strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs. For more information, visit richlandareafarmersmarket.org or call 608-213-3374.
