WFHR and WIRI Programming Updates

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. (WFHR, WIRI) – As part of Civic Media Network’s programming updates, there are exciting changes coming to both the WFHR and WIRI lineup! These changes have created so many opportunities for new shows, be sure to stay tuned for those updates as they hit the airwaves!

New Time – Same Show!

On WFHR the local favorite “Mornings with WFHR” is shifting over to the 9:00 a.m -11:00 a.m time every weekday. The rest of the show is exactly how you’ve come to know and love it!

WIRI Sunrise Show – Now Longer!

Over on WIRI the Sunrise Show is gaining an additional hour for its increasing audience there. The popularity of WIRI is wonderful to see for all of us here. Thank you for listening!

Playmakers will move

Playmakers has been traded from WFHR’s lineup to WIRI’s lineup. It will now air on 105.5 FM from 4-5 PM Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Join the same great team, for the same great show, in the perfect pre-game spot for all our local sports coverage!

New Name – Same Great Show!

Lastly, Mid-Day Magazine will be moving to a podcast format beginning on April 23rd. The new name is “The Rapids Report.” Each episode will be available for download on our website and socials, our guest’s socials, our Civic Media shows webpage, and anywhere you already get your podcasts!
