Students Will Pay More Next Semester Across UW System
The Board of Regents approved price increases for room & board and auxiliary fees.
MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – Students across the Universities of Wisconsin System will pay more next semester.
The Board of Regents approved price increases for room & board and other fees last week.
According to the UW System, prices will rise about 2.9% on average. Generally, students will pay about $300 more, although it varies by campus. At UW-Madison, prices will increase by $363.
Depending on how the federal funding situation plays out, leaders have hinted that tuition increases could also be possible. Regents will discuss tuition costs at a future meeting.
