Ithaca has as they have won the first 3 games without a loss in the Ridge and Valley softball conference. The host Bulldogs defeated La Farge 16-1 in 4 innings on Monday night. 

Sophomore Jacey Maxwell was the winning pitcher after striking out 8 and walking 3 while giving up 2 hits.  Arianna Louis was 2 for 3 with a double, 2 RBI, a walk, and 3 runs scored for Ithaca.  Senior Kailey Newkirk hit a lead off solo home run leading off the 2nd inning. The Bulldogs scored 7 runs in that inning. In the 4th, Kaylee Manning hit a pinch hit 3 run home run for the Bulldogs.

Kaydence Lawrence and Brielle Hanson were both 1 for 2 for the Wildcats.  La Farge loaded the bases in the first inning but failed to score. Sam Coggins walked and scored on an error in the 4th.  The Wildcats are now 0-3 in the conference and for the season.

With the 16-1 win, Ithaca now prepares for a doubleheader on Thursday night at home against Wauzeka/Steuben. La Farge will play at North Crawford.
