LACROSSE, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – The Wisconsin DPI announces an educator training session at The Nature Place in Lacrosse Monday, March 31, 2025 from 9:00a to 11:30a.

In this training, educators will experience energy lessons that can effectively be taught outside.

Activities include taking temperatures to investigate how shading, coloring, and other factors affect temperature, surveying different environments to determine how non-living elements affect living elements in an ecosystem, and how energy flows through a food chain.

Educators will leave ready to confidently teach energy concepts outdoors using KEEP kit tools and resources.

Recommended for educators of grades K-6, adaptable for 7-12.
