Farmer Angel Network announces a special book club series
The Farmer Angel Network has announced a special book club series featuring the new book, “Land Rich, Cash Poor: My Family’s Hope and the Untold Story of the Disappearing American Farmer,” by award-winning journalist Brian Reisinger.
The series will include three sessions, each held on consecutive Mondays from 6:00p to 7:30p, at the Sauk Prairie Healthcare Hospital and virtually.
March 24 will focus on the challenges of family farming.
March 31 will focus on the future of family farming.
April 7 with feature a Q&A with author Brian Reisinger.
Brian Reisinger will be joined on April 7 by his parents, Jim and Jean Reisinger, who are Sauk County family farmers.
Brian knows farming, as he is a 4th generation farmer.
After leaving high school, Brian Reisinger went on to college and some experiences that lead to writing this book.
Brian talked about how, during the creation process of the book, he noticed how national events lined with and affected LOCAL farming.
