Health insurance is important to have, to help with medical costs, and sometimes changes need to be made to make a plan better. Medicare Advantage policy holders are able to make adjustments during the open enrollment period, which ends soon. When making changes, or enrolling for the first time, do so with caution. Michelle Reinen is with The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

To avoid being scammed, there are things consumers can do to be safe.
