KENOSHA, Wis. (WRJN) – Expedited passport service is coming to Kenosha County.

Kenosha County Clerk Regi Waligora has announced what’s called a ‘Special Event Passport Day’ on Saturday, March 22 at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., U.S. citizens can apply for passports without appointments.

The event will accept first-time and minor applications, offer on-site photo services and Spanish translation. The center, at 19600 75th St., will process applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

Waligora encourages applicants to complete forms in advance, available at the State Department website. She warns against paying for online applications, emphasizing they are free through the official website.

For questions, contact the County Clerk’s Office at 262-653-2552 or countyclerk@kenoshacounty.wi.gov. Other County Center offices will be closed during the event.
