Roads reopened Tuesday morning, almost eight hours after a La Farge tire shop fire.

Crews were called to La Farge Truck Center’s tire shop on Highway 82 around 9:30 Monday night. They blocked off the road at Gold Street for almost eight hours before reopening around 4:5 this morning. Officials say several vehicles, construction equipment, and tools were inside the shop; Both Viola and LaFarge fire departments worked together to put out the flames and save what they could. Channel 8 in LaCrosse says no one was in the building when the fire started, and no injuries were reported.

The LaFarge Truck Center says they are still going strong and are open for business and will meet all your needs to keep you going. They would like to “Thank” all the local fire departments and EMT’s for their hard work and dedication during their recent loss.
