The Ithaca girls basketball team closed out the Ridge and Valley conference with a 51-32 win over visiting La Farge on Thursday night.  The Bulldogs led 31-14 and led by 20 before the Wildcats trimmed the lead to 11 with 7:43 remaining in the game.  Ithaca was able to take back the momentum and improved to 7-5 in the Ridge and Valley.

Senior Maggie Kershner was the leading scorer with 15 including 3 three pointers.  Senior Tristan Peterson added 14, and Sophomore Jacey Maxwell had 11 points.  Holly King totaled 6 points, Kelsea Colman hit a three pointer, and Maylee Pluemer scored 2.  The Bulldogs were 5 for 9 at the free throw line.

Sam Coggins was the only Wildcat player in double figure scoring as she had 15 points, Kaydence Lawrence and Chelsey Huebsch each had 4, Addie Hansen and Macie Fowell each had 3, Brielle Hansen scored 2, and Riley Greffe added 1 point.  La Farge was 3 for 6 from the line.  They fell to 0-21 on the season, and 0-11 overall.

Ithaca is now 13-9 on the season and they will close out the regular season Tuesday night against Highland.  La Farge had a game scheduled with Coulee Christian/Providence next week.  Once again the final of Thursday nights girls game was Ithaca 51 and La Farge 32.
