Amber Alert Issued for Pregnant Beaver Dam Teen

BEAVER DAM, WI- (WISS) – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old pregnant girl, Sophia Martha Franklin, from Beaver Dam. 

Sophia, who is three months pregnant, was last seen at her home in Beaver Dam at 9:00 p.m. Sunday night (2/2/25). Police believe she is with  40-year-old Gary F. Day, the father of her unborn child. A no-contact order has been issued for Day and Sophia.

Day was last seen at 7:48 Monday (2/3/25) morning at Sophia’s home.

Police believe they are traveling in a 2014 black Buick LaCrosse with Arkansas license plates BBR 20L. *UPDATED INFORMATION* They are utilizing various license plates on the Buick LaCrosse. Last seen on the morning of 2/3/25 with Pennsylvania license plate KGW5186.

Sophia is described as 5’9”, 186 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Day is 5’7”, 165 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.
