MILWAUKEE, Wis (WAUK) – Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson will ceremonially sign two Common Council files on Friday, honoring the late Alderman Jonathan Brostoff‘s contributions.

The event will take place at 9 a.m. outside 2730 North Humboldt Boulevard, the site of the River Trail Commons project.

The first file authorizes the Environmental Collaboration Office to pursue clean energy tax credits, supporting Milwaukee’s sustainability initiatives. The second file advances a zoning change for the development of River Trail Commons, an innovative co-housing project in Brostoff’s Third Aldermanic District.

Mayor Johnson will deliver remarks celebrating Brostoff’s legislative legacy and dedication to community advancement.

Additional speakers are expected to provide insights into the River Trail Commons project, highlighting its potential impact on the neighborhood.
