Brown County seeks help identifying debit card skimming suspect

GREEN BAY, WI- (WGBW) – The Brown County Sheriff’s office is seeking help from the public to help find a person who they think skimmed a resident’s debit card and used the information to make several purchases in the Madison area.

According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect used the victim’s debit card to make fraudulent purchases on November 10, 2024. One of the locations where the card was used is Ernie’s Liquor 4521 Cottage Grove Rd in Madison. Ernie’s Liquor provided Brown County officials with surveillance footage, and officials now ask for the public’s help in identifying the man.
