High School Football rolls on tonight

The 3rd level of WIAA football continues Friday.

8 Player football semi-final games include: Highland playing Owen-Withee at Stanley-Boyd High School and Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas versus Northwood/Solon Springs at Rhinelander.

11 player games tonight involving local teams include: River Ridge playing at Potosi-Cassville, Lancaster hosts Belleville and Prairie du Chien hosts the Milwaukee Academy of Science.

There is a “new” term being used to describe tonight’s round of games. The “Sectional Championship” football terminology was put into play this season. Travis Wilson from WisSports.net explains.
