Local sports tonight has the High School Volleyball playoffs getting underway.
Local Division 5 matches include: Wauzeka-Steuben versus Weston, Coulee Christian faces Wonewoc-Center and Lafarge is at North Crawford. The winner of that contest will move on and travel to Ithaca for Thursday night’s round two action.
Division 4 matches we see Boscobel at Fennimore, Iowa-Grant takes on Wisconsin Heights, River Ridge hits the road against Southwestern, and Riverdale is at Kickapoo. That match will be the featured action on WRCO FM 100.9 tonight with Phil Nee. The pre-match show starts at 6:40 PM with volleyball at 7.
WRCO’s Phil Nee caught up with Riverdale head coach Jessi Kinney and they talked about tonight’s game:
Looking at Division 3 action in our area, we see Mauston at Darlington, Luther plays Prairie du Chien, River Valley hits the road to Westby, Lancaster is at Viroqua, Wisconsin Dells and Black River Falls will face off, and Monroe is on the road at Reedsburg.
