WAUKESHA, Wis. (WAUK) – The Republican Party of Wisconsin is establishing an enhanced presence in Waukesha. They’ve announced the opening of a new South East Regional field office at 1701 Pearl Street. A statement says the move is part of a larger effort by the GOP to open 30 facilities across Wisconsin by early June.

According to party officials, the Waukesha office will serve as a hub for the state party, the Hovde campaign, the Wisconsin Federation of Young Republicans, and Republican candidates at all levels. The move is seen as a strategic effort to bolster organizational efforts and mobilize support in the region ahead of the 2024 elections.

“We’ve already been staffing up and building our local organizations across the state,” said WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming. “This will be one of several steps in our growth, including additional local offices and staff, as we work to win Wisconsin.”

The GOP’s expansion in Waukesha County, a longtime Republican stronghold, comes as both parties are gearing up for a high-stakes presidential election year in the critical swing state of Wisconsin. The new office is expected to play a pivotal role in mobilizing volunteers, coordinating campaign efforts, and amplifying the party’s message in the region.

A grand opening event for the Waukesha field office, along with an on-site “Volunteers for Victory Rally,” is scheduled for early June.
